The focus at the Take It To The Rim Basketball Camp is on making each player a better offensive player. It is our goal for each player to return to their team with new ideas, drills, workouts, and to be a more inspired, dedicated, and effective basketball player. This is an extremely intense and physically demanding offensive camp designed for the serious basketball player. It is our goal to make sure that every player improves their offensive skills at the Take It To The Rim Camp and after camp is over each player will have experienced how hard you must work to truly become a better basketball player. The Take It To The Rim Basketball Camp is a highly intensive/offensive instructional camp that emphasizes the development of basketball skills rather than team play. You must attend camp in peak physical condition, with a willingness to work and improve your individual skills.

As high school coaches, we know we want our players to have the self-discipline to workout on their own and to do more than just play. Having had the opportunity to be a high school coach for twenty eight years my best teams, teams that won conference championships and competed for state titles, were tremendous offensively. Everyone playing had the ability to put the ball on the floor, make plays, and make shots. These abilities were developed in the off season and at Take It To The Rim Basketball Camp. Running Take It To The Rim Basketball Camp is an extremely serious endeavor. Watching a camp session, I would hope you see someone passionately teaching the game of basketball. Each camp session is carefully planned to maximize the number of quality repetitions a player achieves. Each camper has a basketball and there is no down time. I want this to be an intense learning experience, increasing the work ethic, effort, confidence, and enjoyment for each camper. When returning home I would hope you would see a more energized player who is working for a purpose. I know that is what I want as coach. Having had the opportunity to watch Sean Miller, Billy Donovan, and Rick Pitino run individual instruction has helped me to put together a quality individual instructional program. If you have any questions regarding camp, please do not hesitate to contact me. I hope to have the opportunity to work with your players this summer.

Prairie du Chien Perimeter Camp
6/17-19/2019 (Boys Overnight), 6/19-21/2019 (Girls Overnight)
Grades 6-12

The summer 2019 basketball camp season will be here quickly. Where your players choose to attend camp is an important decision. Crucial time, money and energy will be spent at camp. I believe our camp to be an excellent choice. Passing, catching, offensive footwork, the ability to shoot and finish – its obvious these skills are crucial to be successful on the basketball court. It’s a game of skills and those skills have to be executed playing at full speed. These skills are what our camp at Prairie du Chien is all about. At our perimeter camp I believe we help players to understand what factors lead to excellent perimeter play. Each session we focus on techniques and skills that are crucial to good play. It is our belief that by improving the skill level of your players we can then also increase their desire to play their position the way it is supposed to be played. Besides increasing the campers’ level of play we strive to enhance their basketball intelligence and their ability to communicate. I want each player to return to you with new ideas, drills, and workouts to be more inspired, dedicated and effective.
